Criminal Records is a nationally recognized record store, and for good reason! Not only do they buy and sell music collections or all kinds and sizes, they are on top of new releases and have a seemingly infinite inventory both in-store and online. You may remember we mentioned Criminal Records in one of our previous blogs about great places to catch live music in the Atlanta area, because not only is Criminal Records a great place to shop, it’s a great place to catch local and national acts live and in person! Located in the Little 5 Points neighborhood, Wax’n’Facts has been a staple of the area since 1976. Wax’n’Facts buys records, mainly focusing on rock, but they sell a wide variety of genres including jazz, hip-hop, r&b, soul, EDM, rap, electronic, disco, and of course, rock. They have high quality goods including new releases, and they pride themselves on offering great bargains including 25 to 50 cent 45s with the rarer ones being priced at only $1! They also carry posters, DVDs, VHS, stickers, artist merchandise, and everything you need to care for your turntables and precious collection including crates, brushes, cleaners, and cloths. Though their selection focuses on the older, harder to find goods, Wax’n’Facts still participates in Record Store Day so expect plenty of exciting, limited vinyl drops throughout the year.
